Looks like Christmas meal 2009 has not enough takers, I guess without the cancellation of the night there isn't enough incentive, might as well carry on gaming.

Apologies Ladies and Gents, owing to lack of numbers Christmas meal 2009 has been cancelled.

What with the the pub being available that week I think the feeling is, Carry on Gaming!




Fellow Gamers of the Dragons on the Hill Club,

Looking at options for the Christmas meal this year.

Normally we get word from the pub that such and such Wednesday has been given over to a corporate party and we use that as a convenient excuse to hold our own Christmas party.

However with economic destitution being wrought on many companies it seems we won't be ousted, on any night.

With this in mind and keeping with long standing traditions, who would like to have a Christmas meal?

I propose that Wednesday 16th December be used as Christmas meal night and seeing that as the rogues of economy have robbed us blind, that we make merry at Mr Wu's of Chinatown, an all you can eat buffet which is remarkably cheap, and serves vegetarian and meat eaters alike.

Afterwards we can make our ways to the various drinking establishments of the area.

All those that are interested please post a reply to this thread and we'll get a booking sorted.

As this will be my last official engagement as Club Secretary it will be great to see you there.
